Eager to address the disparities she encountered during her personal skincare journey, Sharika immersed herself in the study of ingredients that combat pigmentation, uneven skin tone, acne, and other skin problems. Fueled by her discoveries, she tirelessly searched for skincare products in the South African market that incorporated multiple active ingredients in the correct amounts. However, at the time, suitable options which dermatologists around the world were recommending were not readily and easily available in SA and if they could be found, they were over-priced.
Using her extensive knowledge, experience and research in skincare, in 2019, she began formulating skincare products.
Before she knew it, Sharika successfully brought her vision to life, creating a range of skincare treasures that captured the essence of her journey. Initially shared with loved ones, this marked the birth of ShaRique by Sharika Regchand, a brand committed to empowering individuals to embrace self-love and nurture their skin, giving them the confidence to live their best life.
But Sharika’s commitment goes beyond physical products. She believes that knowledge is power when it comes to making informed skincare decisions. That’s why she started writing ebooks and blogs on skincare, empowering individuals, skincare brands, and businesses with valuable insights to navigate the skincare world and make choices that promote good skin health.
