The poet starts by saying….
Remember Dear Soul, this book was written for you, that is why its sub-heading reads, The Book of Books because this is the only book that you have been searching for.
To Whom This Speaks
The poet, Pravesh Lakhan, claims that if you read his poem in this book several times, until you find your slowest pace of reading that is possible, you will be able to read between the lines and spaces which will lead you to immediate awakening. But that can only happen once you reach your slowest reading pace that is possible.
This book is for everybody, but especially for you.
“ Dear Soul, you will know once you have reached your slowest pace. Once you have reached your slowest pace a magical thing happens, in a word, line or sentence. It will stop you with deep silence and stillness to shine its light onto you. For you to receive the gift- that the poem came into existence- it will light the flame in you that you once blew off. That flame will be reignited.
Once this happens, every time you read the book as a whole, you will be adding fuel to your flame making it shine brighter and brighter until you completely light up shining all by yourself with nothing else,” said Lakhan.
The poet goes on further to state in his claim that if you have not received any TRUTH or WISDOM from this book, you are entitled to a money-back guarantee, as long as you are able to return the wisdom and TRUTH that you have experienced from this book, proving that you have reached your slowest pace while reading and have read the book from cover to cover, and have achieved reading what is said between the lines and spaces.
Because remember, Dear Soul, that the book was what you paid for, but the WISDOM and TRUTH is being given to you for free, as a Gift. All you have to do is accept this gift and receive it as an offering of TRUTH and WISDOM.
About Pravesh Lakhan
Lakhan’s story didn’t begin with poetry. It began with presence- as a small child, observing chickens in their hen house, watching chicks hatch at the very moment of hatching, being one with it, eggs being laid and life beginning. He would also spend time sitting beside his two dogs in the veld, at the same time being one with the trees around him.
Years later, he also experienced what it was like to witness death at its core- as “it” leaves the body.
“A once moving body, full of life, becoming still and lifeless.”
This, he said, happened when he saw three of his dogs fighting. Two of them attacked the third one severely, even though he had rescued her.
As the injured dog went to lie down to regain her strength, he sat closely beside her, gently stroking her, as he felt her life leave her body.
“ What could once move becoming completely still and stiff (lifeless). I held my hand lightly on her head and could literally feel life slipping away out of her body, leaving it still and stiff. Even though she was gone, the memory and love remained,” added Lakhan.
Having always been an observer, it was only during one of his Guidance lessons in school that he realised what an observer meant when it was explained to him by the teacher. He learnt that lago in Shakespeare’s Othello described himself as an observer of the world.
Instantly, he felt a connection to those lines because he felt as though what was described to him in the lines, similarly described how he looks at the world. He doesn’t remember learning anything else from the book, but those lines stayed and remained dear to him.
” Life is simply Life reflecting itself on itself, by itself, and when you are lost you are your brain reflecting yourself as your mind by your brain, making you believe that it is you when in actual fact you are just life that has a brain, for you to use, to navigate and enjoy this world, BUT instead your mind tricks you into forgetting yourself and takes control and acts as if it is you. Dear Soul, find yourself.” Pravesh Lakhan.
