Glucono Delta-Lactone

Those with dry or sensitive skin types may find glycolic acid to be too irritating for their skin and should rather opt for our Lactic Acid Toner.
HOW TO DO A PATCH TEST
Performing a patch test is a crucial step when introducing a new skincare product to your routine, as it can help you to determine whether the product is safe for your skin and whether you may have an adverse reaction to it. Here are the steps for performing a patch test:
- Choose a small area of skin on your inner forearm or behind your ear that is easily accessible and not visible.
- Apply a small amount of the product to the area and spread it evenly. You can use a cotton swab or your finger to do this.
- Wait for at least 24-48 hours and observe the area for any signs of redness, itching, swelling, or irritation. It is normal to experience a slight tingling or itchiness with our Glow Up Face Mask but if the reaction is severe, remove the product immediately and rinse the area with cool water.
- If you do not experience any adverse reactions after 24-48 hours, it is likely safe to use the product on your face.
HOW TO USE
Apply at night only. Use once or twice a week. At most three times a week.
It is not recommended to use this product daily because over-exfoliating can damage the skin barrier.

Saturate a cotton pad with toner and gently pat into skin. Avoid eye area. Do not rinse off. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use. Use after cleansing (before applying a hydrating toner or serum) but before moisturising. It is not recommended to use this product with other alpha hydroxy acids or Vitamin C in the same skincare routine.
SUNBURN ALERT
This product may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product.
