Glow Up Face Mask

One of our most talked-about formulas, the Glow Up Face Mask brings salon-style exfoliation home, with a specific focus on melanin-rich skin. Because skin of colour can be more prone to post-inflammatory dark marks when over-exfoliated, this mask is built to resurface effectively while keeping the barrier comfortable.

It uses three acids at balanced levels rather than one high dose: Lactic Acid (AHA) and Gluconolactone (PHA), which are larger molecules that refine the surface gently, plus a controlled level of Glycolic Acid for a more targeted effect. Turmeric adds antioxidant brightness, while Glycerin, Sorbitol, Cucumber and Allantoin keep skin soothed.

Use once a week. On clean skin, apply a thin layer, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 15 minutes (up to 30 if your skin is used to acids). A mild tingle is normal — if it stings or burns, rinse off immediately with cold water. Follow with SPF 50 the next day, as acids increase sun sensitivity.

Suitable for normal, oily and combination skin. Not for dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin, or a damaged barrier — use the Ceramide Barrier Support Cream instead. Do not use on open wounds or sores. Always patch test first.

How often can I use it?

Once a week is plenty. This is a strong resurfacing mask, not a daily product.

Is tingling normal?

A mild tingle is expected. Stinging or burning is not — rinse off straight away with cold water if that happens.

Can sensitive or dry skin use it?

No. It’s not suitable for dry, dehydrated, sensitive or barrier-damaged skin. Start with the Ceramide cream to build your barrier first.

Do I need sunscreen after using it?

Yes. Acids make skin more sun-sensitive, so wear SPF 50 the following day.
